Introduction
At Mr Clever Clean, we specialize in providing high-quality exterior cleaning services across the Derby area. Recently, a customer approached us to restore the exterior cladding of their residence, which was covered in green algae. This project summary details how we renewed the look of their cladding using our innovative softwashing approach.
Obstacles Faced
Green Algae Infestation: The white cladding on the family home was heavily infested with green algae, diminishing its visual appeal.
Ineffective DIY Efforts: The customer had previously tried removing the algae with a soft brush, but could only reach partway up the wall, and the algae returned within a few months.
Our Approach
Upon being called, we carried out an assessment to understand the scope of the algae problem and develop an optimal plan. We then provided the customer with a detailed proposal and cost proposal, which they approved. Here’s a detailed breakdown of our process:

Final Inspection and Customer Sign-Off: After completing the cleaning process, we performed a last wash to leave no chemical traces behind. We then asked the customer to review the work. They were extremely pleased with the results and the impressive clean.
Maintenance Plan: Thrilled by the clean, the customer arranged for an annual maintenance treatment to keep the cladding algae-free and prevent future infestations. This proactive approach helps the cladding look its best all year.
