Mr Clever Clean had the honor of contributing to a remarkable episode of BBC One’s DIY SOS: The Big Build, where the home of Dakota Read, a young girl with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, was transformed. Dakota and her family live in Weston Hills, Spalding, and the DIY SOS team, led by Nick Knowles, stepped in to adapt the home to better suit her needs

Making a Clean Entrance for the Big Reveal

As Dakota’s home renovation neared completion, we were called in to ensure the block paved driveway was spotless for the final reveal. Winter had brought snow, mud, and grime, which had accumulated over the course of the project. Our team tackled this challenge head-on, providing a thorough and efficient clean-up of the driveway and surrounding areas.

The sight of a freshly cleaned driveway added to the emotional impact of the reveal, as Dakota’s family saw their transformed home for the first time. Knowing that our work helped create a warm and welcoming exterior for this special moment was incredibly rewarding for our team. This project was about more than just cleaning; it was about helping create an environment that would make a positive impact on Dakota’s life.
